King Shock Rebuild Request
In a typical rebuild of a set of King 2.5" or 3.0" shocks, one can expect all seals to be replaced, pintop bushings where applicable and a couple bearings. Average cost is around $600-$700/set of shocks assuming no substantial parts are needed (reservoir assembly, shafts, etc.). It's not uncommon to need rear shafts on shocks that have been neglected but 90% of our rebuilds are seals, oil and a couple bearings.
If a customer requires anything beyond the above (reservoir can, hose, cylinder, shafts etc.) this will require individual evaluation and costing. This will be determined once the shocks are received and reviewed by our technician. Any items beyond shocks, seals, oil, bearings and pintop bushings will extend the turnaround time as these are specific to each shock and will need to be ordered from King; they're thereby subject to King's availability.
